Exceptionally well-crafted spring with the outstanding quality Prometheus is known for, featuring a non-linear design for optimal performance and durability. The spring power rating indicates the expected muzzle velocity in m/s (metres per second) using 0.20g BBs, and can be multiplied by 3.28 to convert to fps.

The required power rating is merely a legal reference — the actual output depends on the tuner’s skill and the system’s air seal. Proper installation typically results in values up to 10% below the nominal rating. Based on experience, the effective output is usually higher than the nominal value, so in case of doubt, it is always advisable to choose the next weaker spring. To achieve the ideal volume balance for your build, many components and combinations (such as piston head, cylinder head, etc.) must be tested. In systems with particularly strong air seal (e.g. KWA G2X), significantly lower power ratings must be chosen.
