Kriss Vector Alpine S-AEG [Krytac]

The first generation of the original KRISS Vector was developed in 2006 and revised in 2007; the second generation was announced at SHOT Show in 2011. Its lower receiver design uses takedown pins to simplify changes between 9×19 mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP configurations. The Super V bolt and inertia block move down behind the magazine to redirect recoil energy, while the barrel aligns with the shooter’s shoulder and hand.

The licensed Krytac KRISS Vector Alpine has a white finish and extended barrel. Its CNC-machined handguard includes a hand stop, three Picatinny rails and M-LOK slots. The redesigned adjustable stock is compatible with an AR-15 buffer tube and has ambidextrous QD sling points.

Fibre-reinforced polymer receivers attach to an aluminium frame; the outer barrel, handguard, charging handle and smaller parts are metal. The split receiver allows internal access. The upper receiver includes a battery-holding pistol grip and long Picatinny rail. The matte handguard has top and bottom rails and three side M-LOK slots. The extended barrel surrounds a 165 mm inner barrel and has a 14 mm CCW thread with a birdcage-style flash hider.

The custom V2 gearbox is stated to produce approximately 360 FPS / 1.2 J with 0.20 g BBs. This S-AEG version fires in semi-automatic mode only, with ambidextrous safety and selector controls. Most internal parts follow the V2 standard, and adjustable hop-up supports BB stability and accuracy.
